Custom Map Product

The major project we tackled for this client was fixing their custom map product. The issue was the file being generated wasn’t exporting to the correct size. The first thing after meeting with the client and going over the issue was I looked into how the code was initially set up. The original developer did leave some comments that helped with deciphering how the code worked. In the script for the map function I added some comments to assist with the testing I had to do to figure out what was causing the issue. I was able to figure out there were a few spots where the math for the export was incorrect after fixing that I tested to make sure it was being exported correctly. Once that was squared away I was able to test to make sure the file was being sent to the printer correctly as well. It was an exciting development. The end result worked perfectly. I was able to create a number of test maps with no issue. After working on the map product we updated the homepage. The homepage update included updated call to action, a style update that also updated the button across the site and call to actions to the custom products and other products they carried.
