Eat Clean Essentials is the secondary Eat Clean Meal Prep site. It sprung up a few years after Eat Meal Prep was doing so well. The customer really wanted to sell seasonings and other meal prep accessories like containers and cookware. Initially it was wrapped up in Eat Clean Meal Prep, but when it came time to update the website's look and feel the client decided to separate the two entities for simplicity and separate marketing strategies, including the blog that would link to different seasonings and accessories.

Homepage update and page removal

For this site the main things we needed to do was remove all the meal plan products and content and then update the home page to be more Seasoning and Meal Prep accessories focused. It was a fairly easy process and the design team made the transition even easier with the Photoshop mockups that I could pull assets from easily.

Ongoing blog updates

One part of Eat Clean Essentials was the blog; it would feature recipes that would use the spices from the websites or talk about the benefits of meal prepping that would then link out to the products on the site. I was in charge of building out the blog, making sure the links were going to the right products or other blogs. I was also in charge of scheduling out the blog post for the month since the writer would write a few for each month.
