Any Budget is a San Diego-based printer. They offer a variety of services and they have a ton of options. For this project they wanted to up their SEO and bring in more customers. The way we did that is by redoing the homepage and adding more information to the services being offered. We also added in some landing pages that had linked to some of the other products that are offered as well. There were some limitations to the edits that can be made because the CMS used to create the site but we were able to work around it and add information as well as style the site to match the mockups.

This was probably one of the trickiest builds I’ve worked on. The client is using a content management system that is very restrictive when it comes to building new sections to the site. For this client the first matter of business was updating the homepage. I had to first figure out the layout of the page what could and couldn’t change so I could relay that information to the design team so they could put together a mock up that worked within the constraints given. Next I worked on building out the page which relied on mainly plain html and css that was added to the page itself instead of in a separate file.

When it came time for us to work on the products page we learned we couldn’t do much to change them so we’d add SEO content and then style the pages as best we could at the time. To work around the constraint of the product pages we made landing pages that would lead users to the product pages where they could go through the process of ordering their items.

This was a fun and challenging project that really made me think outside the box for some of the execution. It also allowed me to work with the design to come up with designs that we could implement because of the restrictions we faced utilizing the clients content management system.
